This is a fully remote position, but we are based in Vancouver


About the position:


Wishpond is committed to offering products and services that make it easy for companies to grow their business. Account Executives are front line ambassadors of the Wishpond brand and are expected to be exceptional without exception in all aspects of their role.


The Account Executive role consists of 3 key areas of responsibility; none more important than another. These 3 key responsibilities are: New Business Sales, Existing Client Management, Collaborating Internally To Hit Wishpond Team Goals.


What you’ll do:


New Business Sales:


  • Embrace a client first mentality to identify and propose the best Wishpond products or services for each client’s unique business needs
  • Conduct demos, calls, and emails with prospective clients in an effort to generate new business sales
  • Following up with prospective clients if they show neutral or positive interest in any products or services that Wishpond can provide or create for them
  • Present campaign ideas and negotiate agreements
  • Use Pipedrive and various other sales tools to facilitate the sales process and track all activity updates
  • Creatively work with prospective clients seeking products or services that Wishpond doesn’t currently offer to find a solution that can be provided for them
  • Be ethical, honest, and caring in your approach with the interest of long term business relationships in mind


 


Existing Client Management:


  • Embrace a client first mentality to foster, maintain, and strengthen long term relationships with existing clients within your ‘book of business’
  • Stay in touch with existing clients via phone and email to ensure they are always using the ‘best’ Wishpond products or services for their current goals
  • Engage regularly with existing clients to seek out opportunities to increase sales and promote additional products or services wherever possible
  • Use Pipedrive, Planhat, Asana and various other sales tools to facilitate the sales process and track all activity updates
  • Proactively collaborate with the creative team to provide the best Wishpond experience possible for every client
  • Respond to client issues, schedule follow ups, and provide invoicing in a timely manner; aiming for client happiness, minimized churn rate, and preservation of Wishpond’s reputation
  • Collaborating Internally To Hit Wishpond Team Goals:
  • Embrace a culture of collaboration, respect, accountability and teamwork with all team members at Wishpond to achieve collective goals
  • Work closely with the sales team to help each other hit individual and team goals
  • Engage with the Account Executive team in weekly team huddles to share best practices, innovative ideas, and any other relevant tricks to help the team constantly improve
  • Maintain healthy communication with the creative team to ensure positive workflow
  • Act as a leader and embrace the process of becoming a professional in your craft


What you need to have:


  • 5+ years of work experience in a Sales
  • 3+ years of work experience in technology or marketing industry
  • Self-motivated, dedicated team player with innovative ideas to identify sales opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain solid client relationships
  • Creative problem solving under pressure when working through customer issues
  • Passion for helping clients to achieve their goals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
